Warren Robbins | Mount Auburn Cemetery

This elaborate layout was inspired by Fraktur, a form of folk art produced by the Pennsylvnaia Germans in the mid 1700’s.
True to the form, the initials of the name are highly ornate. Note the tiny squares carved into the center of the elongated stems (right).

The lower inscription is written in the kurrent script, an earlier form of cursive now extinct.

A bird, flowers, and distinct border margins all add to this bespoke flat marker.
